BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT

• Please Note – We Are Not a Walk-In Clinic
• Please be kind and patient. Our front staff are trained to help patients and we make every effort to make your experience pleasant and comfortable.
• Please note that we are completely supportive of our staff and neither the doctor nor management will tolerate any rude or aggressive behavior.
• We will do our very best to book you a timely appointment, either as a phone consultation or in-clinic visit with your primary care provider.

CANCELLED/MISSED APPOINTMENT

• We require no less than 24 hours notice for appointment cancellation.
• Due to an extremely high demand for appointments, missed appointments will result in a $50 no show fee that will be charged to the patient.
  

CONFIDENTIALITY AND PRIVACY

• All of our staff have signed confidentiality agreements and we are dedicated to ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality. We cannot guarantee the privacy of anything sent to us by email so we recommend you contact the office by phone for all inquiries.

Contagious Illness  Protocols

• We are booking both phone and in-person appointments.
• For in-clinic appointments, We  ask that you wear a mask if you have any symptoms (coughing, fever, runny nose) for the safety of others in our office.  We supply if you do not have your own.  If you are COVID  positive, we ask that you book a phone appt unless otherwise directed by a medical professional, for the safety of others in our clinic.

COVID Information

• Covid tests can now be obtained from your local pharmacy, and conducted at home.
• For reliable updates on COVID-19, please visit: BC Centre for Disease Control or Interior Health

• The Trail lab is located in the Riverside Building.  It is open Monday through Friday from 8am-4pm.

• LifeLabs Trail is located in Waneta Plaza mall.  It is open Monday through Friday from 7am-3pm.
  To book an appointment, phone 1-800-431-7206 or visit www.lifelabs.com.  LifeLabs Trail takes walk-in appointments.
• Rossland AMC Lab operates only on Thursdays from 8:20-1:30 pm. This is an Interior Health operated lab.

  Rossland AMC Lab does not allow walk in appointments.
• Please remember to bring your BC Services card and to come at your appointment time at the selected lab.

MyHealthPortal is an online tool that allows Interior Health citizens 24-7 secure access to their personal health information.

View your lab results, medical imaging reports (such as X-Ray, CT, and ultrasound scans), certain transcribed reports, upcoming IH facility appointments, and recent visit history.

• We do not renew prescriptions without an appointment.
• If you require a prescription refill, please book your appointment at least 2 weeks in advance of need by phoning 250-362-7307
